Dans le cadre du 25e anniversaire de L’École catholique, les huit conseils scolaires catholiques de langue française de l’Ontario ont préparé diverses activités pour leurs élèves et les membres du personnel, dont un concours fort original qui a fait scintiller tout près de 4 500 sourires créatifs dans les établissements scolaires partout en province !

Saviez-vous que le français est parlé dans 36 pays et, de ce fait, par plus de 320 millions de personnes? Pas moins de 93 millions d’élèves et d’étudiants ont le français comme langue d’enseignement. Ça en fait du monde, ça! Il s’agit de la 5e langue la plus parlée dans le monde.

Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales
Discover the riches of Northwestern Ontario by enjoying the local flavour of each of the communities that make up our large territory. Straddling two districts, Thunder Bay and Kenora-Rainy River, the Northern Lights CSDC covers 34,000 km2. We serve nine communities from Red Lake, in the west, to Longlac and Marathon.

We welcome more than 6,200 students daily. Our 29 elementary schools, 8 high schools and 3 alternative education centres are located on a vast region over close to 25,000 km2, from Hearst to Temiskaming Shores, passing through Foleyet, Gogama and Timmins.

We enroll approximately 6,400 students in 37 educational locations including 27 elementary schools, 1 virtual school, 9 high schools and 1 alternative education and training centre. Our territory extends over 19,226 km2. It includes the counties of Chapleau, Dubreuilville, Espanola, Greater Sudbury, Hornepayne, Michipicoten, North Shore, Sault Ste. Marie and the Sudbury East region.

Our 10,000+ students are part of a large, enthusiastic French-speaking Catholic school community, and receive first-rate education in a rich, equitable and inclusive learning environment.

The Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE) is the largest Canadian network of French-language schools outside Quebec. We have more than 24,500 students attending our 44 elementary schools, 13 high schools and 1 adult school, and employ some 2,800 professionals.
